Senior Legal Counsel – Financial Incentives Team

About the role

Invest Lithuania is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join the Financial Incentives team. You will provide legal guidance on complex financial incentive projects and advise colleagues and investors on regulatory, state aid, contractual, and corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare strategic legal guidance for internal teams supporting national and foreign investors throughout project preparation and implementation.
• Provide in‑depth legal advice on the design and enhancement of incentive measures for investors.
• Lead legal analysis, draft regulations or legal opinions, and contribute to improving the business environment.
• Advise on corporate, contractual, regulatory, and governance matters and help develop the in‑house legal practice.
• Represent Invest Lithuania at central and local government institutions and with other agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a lawyer.
• Fluency in spoken and written Lithuanian and English.
• High degree of autonomy and ability to solve complex problems, organize data, draw conclusions, and present them clearly.
• In‑depth understanding of Lithuanian legal acts and the ability to use them effectively.
