About the role

The National Cyber Security Centre (NKSC) in Vilnius is looking for a Public Relations Specialist to lead its external communication activities. You will shape the centre’s public image, support media relations and ensure clear, consistent messaging about cybersecurity initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organisation’s external communication strategy.
• Prepare and distribute news releases, briefings and other information for media and the public.
• Organise press conferences, events and other outreach activities.
• Administer NKSC websites, social‑media accounts and other digital communication channels.
• Oversee visual communication assets and ensure brand consistency.
• Coordinate communication during crises and provide timely updates.
• Analyse communication metrics and propose improvements.
• Participate in national strategic communication initiatives and support internal communication projects when needed.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in public relations or communications.
• Experience with public campaigns or crisis communication (preferred).
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• Eligibility to work with classified information marked “RIBOTO NAUDOJIMO”.
