Community Lead for Crypto Trading Platform

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned trader who can own and grow the Kraken Pro community. The role sits at the intersection of product, trading and social channels, acting as the voice of the most demanding crypto traders.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively on Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit and other trader‑focused channels, posting real-time market updates before anyone else.
• Design and run an ambassador and power‑user program that brings market makers, quant desks and high‑volume traders into the feedback loop.
• Organise and host public events such as AMAs, live‑trading sessions, feature launches, competitions and post‑mortems.
• Gather product‑related issues from the community, deliver detailed receipts to product managers and communicate resolutions back to users.
• Create high‑impact content – micro‑structure threads, feature teardowns, release notes and screenshots that the community shares.
• Measure and report community health metrics such as sentiment, share of voice, sign‑ups and retention of key trader segments.

Required profile

• Active trader with real positions and a deep understanding of funding rates, maker/taker economics, slippage and latency.
• 3+ years of experience managing a community or social presence for a technical, skeptical audience (crypto, fintech, gaming or dev tools).
• Fast, clear writing ability for both short‑form posts and long‑form analysis.
• Thick skin and strong instincts for de‑escalating heated discussions without corporate‑style scripts.
• Proven track record of building a community from scratch, operating without a brief and thriving in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
