Accountant

About the role

Join Luminor’s Group Finance Department as an Accountant and support the accounting and tax processes for our Lithuanian entities. You will ensure high‑quality accounting data while complying with internal and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Reconcile data and balances across ledgers and systems.
• Prepare various financial reports and statements.
• Participate in monthly closing activities.
• Provide support and backup to team members.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Identify and propose improvements in accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Prior experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian accounting standards and taxes.
• Analytical thinking, high accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
• Ability to work in the office 1‑2 times per week.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Lithuanian.
