Data Analyst – Financial Data Analytics

About the role

Join the Financial Data Analytics team at Danske Bank and turn raw data into clear insights that support senior management decisions for Personal Customers. You will work on dashboard development, data transformation, and analysis while collaborating with colleagues across the CFO area.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve interactive Tableau dashboards for performance management.
• Design, build, and maintain ETL flows using SQL, Python and SSIS.
• Translate stakeholder needs into intuitive reporting and help them become data‑driven.
• Document dashboards, calculations and data sources for transparency and maintainability.
• Support data analysis and share knowledge across teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar data analyst role.
• Strong curiosity and interest in using data visualisation to solve business problems.
• Attention to detail, data quality focus and interest in user experience.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or higher in data, finance, analytics, mathematics or statistics.
• Good written and spoken English with the ability to communicate insights to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Tableau (or Power BI) dashboard development.
• SQL for data querying.
• Python programming.
• SSIS for ETL processes.
