Debt Manager

About the role

Finora Bank, a specialized bank licensed by the ECB and focused on micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, is looking for a Debt Manager in Vilnius. The role manages a portfolio of distressed exposures and supports the bank's debt recovery strategy, covering the full process from pre-legal collection and restructuring through enforcement and insolvency proceedings.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse individual cases and recommend the best recovery, restructuring, settlement or enforcement approach
• Prepare proposals for the Credit Committee and present cases, then implement approved decisions
• Develop restructuring and enforcement plans aligned with borrowers' repayment capacity and the bank's risk tolerance
• Monitor the progress of recovery, restructuring and enforcement actions
• Communicate with borrowers, guarantors, lawyers, bailiffs and insolvency administrators
• Manage the debt recovery process, including overseeing external legal service providers and bailiffs
• Represent the bank in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings and before courts, and prepare claims and other legal documents
• Perform financial analysis of borrowers, including financial statements, cash flows, repayment capacity and collateral
• Calculate debt balances, repayment schedules and interest using Excel and internal systems

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• Experience in debt collection, loan recovery, restructuring, enforcement or insolvency is a strong advantage
• Understanding of the Lithuanian legal framework for debt recovery
• Knowledge of banking products, loan agreements and basic banking operations
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Lithuanian

Required skills

• Good Excel skills and ability to work with numbers and data
• Ability to analyse financial information and assess borrowers' repayment capacity
