Engineering Manager, Trust & Safety

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Trust & Safety domain at Vinted. You will head a team that builds machine‑learning powered systems to detect malicious content, prevent fraud, and keep the marketplace safe for millions of users across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of Trust & Safety features, managing stakeholders and agile execution.
• Lead, coach and grow a high‑performing engineering team, fostering accountability and continuous development.
• Drive engineering excellence in resilience, stability, scalability, developer experience and quality.
• Partner with Product, Design and Data teams to align priorities, support experimentation and deliver data‑informed solutions.
• Shape and ship best‑in‑class detection products, including counterfeit and malicious content prevention using image‑recognition and machine‑learning technologies.
• Execute roadmap, OKRs and delivery plans to reduce user harm and platform abuse.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams building large‑scale, ML‑driven systems.
• Strong background in Trust & Safety, fraud detection or related domains.
• Ability to manage cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
