Financial Analyst (Junior/Mid Level)

About the role

Heston Airlines is seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to support the optimisation of the company's financial performance. The role involves cost allocation, KPI analysis, and the creation of financial dashboards within a fast‑paced aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate direct and indirect operating costs accurately and timely.
• Assist in month‑end close and prepare regular financial and management reports.
• Calculate, review and analyse company financial KPIs.
• Conduct in‑depth cost analysis across departments, focusing on maintenance and crew training costs.
• Identify automation opportunities for cost confirmation and support cost controllers.
• Create and maintain analytical dashboards and visualisations.
• Handle special projects and ad‑hoc requests as assigned.

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience for junior level or 2+ years for mid level in cost control, analysis or planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel with proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
• Understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and corporate finance concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
