Financial Partnerships Operations Manager, EMEA

About the role

Airwallex is looking for a Financial Partnerships Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations of its Financial Partnerships team across EMEA. You will support banking partners and other financial institutions as the business expands into new markets, working from the Vilnius office three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate partner requirements, due‑diligence, regulatory changes, operational requests and cross‑functional implementations.
• Build scalable processes, governance mechanisms, reporting and performance dashboards to make partner health and operational risks visible to senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Treasury, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Commercial and Operations teams to deliver changes and resolve dependencies.
• Drive triage of partner escalations and operational requests, ensuring timely resolution.
• Provide clear updates to senior stakeholders and external partners on implementation progress, risks and improvement areas.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, payments, banking operations, strategy, business operations, partnerships or consulting.
• Proven project‑management experience coordinating complex workstreams, dependencies, deadlines and escalations.
• Strong analytical ability with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets or similar reporting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and external partners.
