Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

About the role

RSI Europe is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to turn financial data into actionable insights. You will support senior management by preparing budgets, forecasts, and performance reports that drive strategic decisions for our defense technology business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the annual budgeting and financial planning process.
• Develop and maintain financial forecasts for revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow.
• Perform monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and identify key drivers.
• Create regular management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Monitor and analyze key financial and operational KPIs, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision‑making.
• Conduct profitability analysis by product, customer, project, business unit, or market.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR to assess financial impact of decisions.
• Support business case evaluation, investment appraisal, cost‑saving initiatives, and strategic projects.
• Prepare scenario and sensitivity analyses to forecast potential outcomes.
• Analyze OPEX, CAPEX, and headcount costs against plan.
• Improve and automate reporting and planning processes using Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity for all analyses.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis to aid management decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting, banking, or manufacturing finance.
• Higher education in Finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to formulate hypotheses, validate them, and build operational/financial models.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Fluent in Lithuanian and English (written and spoken).
• CFA certification is a plus.
