Global Head of Tax

About the role

Verian is seeking an experienced Global Head of Tax to lead its worldwide tax function. Reporting to the Group CFO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you will embed tax considerations into commercial, operational and strategic initiatives across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Group Tax Strategy and Governance Framework.
• Provide strategic tax advice to the CFO, Board and senior executives.
• Oversee compliance for corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, employment taxes and other direct/indirect obligations.
• Manage tax accounting, provisioning and deferred tax reporting.
• Lead transfer pricing policy, international tax planning and tax risk management.
• Support M&A activities with tax due‑diligence and integration.
• Maintain relationships with external advisers, auditors and tax authorities worldwide.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a global tax function.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of building high‑performing teams.
• Experience in a multinational, consulting or public‑policy environment is a plus.
