Head of Industrial Division

About the role

AVS Pipefit is expanding and is looking for a Head of Industrial Division to lead industrial projects in Lithuania and internationally, from planning to final delivery. The role combines technical expertise, leadership and business acumen, covering projects, people, finances and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee industrial projects in Lithuania and abroad, from planning to final delivery
• Manage and develop the department: plan workloads, organise activities, assign tasks and keep the team efficient and clearly directed
• Control project revenues and costs, analyse specifications, budgets and profitability
• Monitor compliance with contracts, deadlines, quality standards and proper use of materials and resources
• Make timely decisions and solve technical, organisational and human challenges proactively
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and partners and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and performance

Required profile

• Experience in industrial projects; piping and/or steel structures is a strong advantage
• Ability to manage projects, teams, deadlines and priorities at the same time
• Understanding of financial principles and experience managing project revenues and costs
• Higher education; a technical or engineering background is an advantage
• Good command of spoken and written English; Russian is an advantage

Required skills

• Strong computer skills and excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Professional communication skills and business etiquette
