About the role

A Ship Repair Piping Estimator is needed in Klaipėda, with business trips possible. The role covers preparing cost estimates and commercial offers for ship repair and piping production projects, working with technical documentation and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for ship repair and piping production projects
• Prepare and coordinate commercial offers with clients and customers
• Analyse technical documentation, drawings and specifications
• Calculate material quantities, work scope and resource requirements
• Monitor supplier quotations and pricing
• Prepare and monitor project technical and reporting documentation
• Cooperate with project managers, technologists and production teams
• Apply EN and ASME standards in projects

Required profile

• Engineering or technical education
• Experience in ship repair project cost estimation
• Ability to read technical drawings and piping diagrams
• Good spoken and written English
• Communicative, responsible and result-oriented, able to plan working time and adapt quickly
• Availability for short business trips when required
• Knowledge of EN and ASME standards is an advantage

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• AutoCAD

Salary from €4,132 gross per month; the final amount is agreed during the interview depending on experience and competencies.
