Human Resources Specialist

About the role

Join Biomapas' international team in Kaunas as a Human Resources Specialist. You will manage HR operations across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance and providing support to employees and managers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employment contracts and documentation for Lithuania and other locations, ensuring legal compliance.
• Coordinate onboarding, employment changes, intern onboarding, and off‑boarding processes.
• Administer working time, absences, annual leave and local employee benefits.
• Prepare payroll inputs, review calculations and collaborate with Finance, Accounting and external payroll providers.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HiBob and other HR systems, including job descriptions and CVs.
• Provide daily HR support, prepare communications and share knowledge within the People Operations team.
• Prepare standard HR documents such as orders, certificates, employment letters and confirmations.
• Coordinate occupational health and safety administration and right‑to‑work checks.
• Produce HR operational reports, KPIs, workforce data and vacation accruals.
• Contribute to HR projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR operations, preferably in an international or fast‑paced environment.
• Solid understanding of Lithuanian labour law and employment documentation.
• Excellent communication skills in Lithuanian and English.
• Strong attention to detail, trustworthy handling of confidential information.
• Proactive, collaborative and adaptable mindset.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with HRIS platforms such as HiBob or Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
