Java Developer – Digital Core Tribe

About the role

Join the Digital Core Tribe, a technology centre of excellence within Danske Bank, and help modernise and optimise the bank’s product portfolios. You will work in a collaborative, flat‑hierarchy environment, delivering scalable APIs and supporting core customer and account domains.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a well‑established engineering community and squad deliveries.
• Solve problems with guidance from senior engineers and ensure tasks are ready for sprint backlogs.
• Define and refine technical solutions to maintain alignment and quality outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with architects, software engineers, and the Product Owner.
• Focus on results rather than timesheets, with no mandatory time registration.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Understanding of event‑driven architecture.
• Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code practices and CI/CD pipelines.

What we offer

• Monthly salary range €3,680 – €5,520 gross, based on competencies.
