Mid‑Level Java Backend Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Mid‑Level Java Backend Developer to join a leading automotive client’s engineering team. You will work in a modern Java stack, primarily with Quarkus/Jakarta EE, and help build reliable, maintainable, and scalable backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java, Quarkus/Jakarta EE and related technologies.
• Create and maintain REST APIs, integrate systems, and work with databases and persistence layers.
• Write clean, testable code and implement unit and integration tests.
• Apply backend security best practices and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Professional Java development experience at a solid mid‑level.
• Good understanding of backend architecture, REST API design, and database interaction.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD fundamentals.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to travel when required.
