Junior PR & Outreach Manager (Travel Tech)

About the role

RatePunk is looking for a motivated Junior PR & Outreach Manager to help raise the brand’s profile across the travel ecosystem. You will own the PR and outreach pipeline from day one, receiving mentorship while learning the ropes of media relations, content pitching, and reputation management.

Key responsibilities

• Research and build prospect lists of travel blogs, websites, media outlets, and journalists that align with RatePunk’s audience.
• Pitch, follow up, and negotiate coverage to secure reviews, articles, and mentions.
• Craft personalized pitches that resonate with each outlet, leveraging cold‑email and PR copywriting techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organized pipeline tracking every conversation, agreement, and published piece.
• Develop and nurture a network of travel‑focused media contacts.
• Assist with online reputation monitoring across review platforms, app stores, and the wider web.
• Progressively take ownership of PR strategy and expand responsibilities as you demonstrate results.

Required profile

• No prior professional experience required; a willingness to learn and grow.
• Excellent written English with strong communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑directed mindset and resilience in the face of rejection.
• Enjoys research and can identify high‑value outreach targets.
• Comfortable handling high‑volume, repetitive outreach while staying detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Familiarity with prospecting and outreach tools such as Google Sheets, Hunter, and Pitchbox.
