About the role

Artea Bank is looking for an experienced KYC Group Leader to head its KYC specialist team. You will be responsible for ensuring high‑quality client due‑diligence, risk‑based assessments and compliance with AML/CTF regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of KYC specialists, set priorities, monitor performance and support professional development.
• Maintain high standards for KYC and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) assessments, applying a consistent risk‑based approach.
• Manage workload, productivity, SLA compliance, backlog and quality metrics.
• Make decisions on complex or escalated client cases, including high‑risk client evaluations.
• Ensure daily compliance with AML/CTF, sanctions and customer‑identification requirements.
• Analyze team KPIs, identify improvement opportunities and drive efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with AML, Compliance, Risk Management, Business and other bank units on challenging cases.
• Contribute to the evolution of KYC processes, controls, automation and AI solutions.
• Prepare and present performance results to senior management, ensuring transparency and KPI tracking.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in KYC, EDD, AML or financial crime prevention.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience managing a team.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CTF regulations, sanctions and customer‑identification principles.
• Proven ability to make decisions on high‑risk clients and complex EDD cases.
• Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent leadership, organization and staff development skills.
• Fluent in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken.
• Responsibility, initiative and result‑orientation.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of KYC, EDD and AML/CTF regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with risk‑based assessment methodologies.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in a banking environment.
