Lead Lawyer – Corporate & Construction

About the role

Lead Lawyer (Corporate & Construction) will ensure RB Rail AS Lithuania’s operations and contracts comply with Lithuanian and EU law. The role supports the rail corridor project by providing legal advice across real estate, environment, spatial planning, construction, civil, company and employment matters.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of all transactions and operations with national legislation and EU principles.
• Provide legal counsel on design and design‑supervision agreements (FIDIC White Book), material purchase contracts and design‑build agreements (FIDIC Yellow Book) for ENE and CCS subsystems.
• Draft, review and amend contracts, amendments and other legal documents in English and Lithuanian.
• Support dispute‑resolution proceedings and advise on everyday legal issues of the Lithuania branch.
• Assist with public procurement procedures and contracts financed by European funds.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of senior‑level experience in construction and/or real‑estate law, either in a reputable law firm or in‑house.
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian law in the fields listed above and of EU legal principles.
• Fluent in English and Lithuanian, with proven ability to draft legal documents in both languages.
• Experience with public procurement and EU‑funded projects is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
