M&A Collaboration & Security Platforms Engineer

About the role

Payward is scaling rapidly through active M&A and needs a specialist to unify the collaboration and security platforms of newly acquired companies. As the M&A Collaboration & Security Platforms Engineer you will own the integration of Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom across the Payward family of brands, ensuring a secure, compliant, and seamless environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end integration of collaboration tools for each acquisition, including scoping, planning, execution, and post‑migration validation.
• Assess acquired‑company collaboration stacks during diligence, identify security and compliance gaps, and define consolidation strategies.
• Rationalize overlapping tools, decide migration versus sunsetting, and implement repeatable playbooks and automation.
• Own Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom at multi‑entity enterprise scale – architecture, governance, licensing, configuration, and daily operations.
• Build and maintain integrations with the broader identity and security stack (Okta, Global Relay, eDiscovery, archiving platforms).
• Define and enforce cross‑brand platform governance standards and automate secure pathways.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, Corporate Development, HRIS, and IAM teams to coordinate cutover timelines, onboarding, and off‑boarding.

Required profile

• Proven experience driving M&A integration of collaboration platforms in a complex, multi‑entity environment.
• Deep understanding of Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom administration and security settings.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management (Okta) and related compliance tooling.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with legal, security, and corporate development stakeholders.
• Hands‑on mindset focused on building and owning processes rather than just maintaining them.
