.NET Back-End Solution Developer

About the role

Join SEB’s Payment Roadmap team to design, build and modernise mission‑critical payment services. You will work in a cross‑functional Agile environment alongside architects, product owners and engineers in Vilnius and Stockholm, delivering secure, high‑performance back‑end solutions that power millions of banking transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back‑end services and APIs for payment solutions.
• Modernise legacy systems as part of SEB’s strategic payment roadmap.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code following engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise existing applications for reliability and performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps and cloud‑native development practices.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers and product owners in a cross‑functional Agile team.

Required profile

• Professional experience with C# and .NET Core building back‑end applications.
• Understanding of REST APIs and service‑oriented or microservice architectures.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably MS SQL.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.
• Interest in cloud‑native technologies and large‑scale distributed systems.
