.Net Software Engineer – Risk & Compliance

About the role

Join the Risk & Compliance Tribe at Danske Bank as a .Net Software Engineer. You will work in an agile, cross‑functional squad to design, develop and modernise banking applications on the cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new features and enhancements using .NET Core and C#.
• Collaborate with squad members to deliver end‑to‑end product increments.
• Ensure scalability, reliability and performance of applications, especially in AWS environments.
• Assist in migrating legacy systems to modern .NET solutions on the cloud.
• Follow best coding practices and contribute to code reviews.
• Share knowledge within the Cloud Chapter and stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of professional experience developing and maintaining software applications.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Core and C#.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Effective problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative, Agile mindset.
• Eagerness to learn, receive mentorship and contribute to a self‑organised team.
• Exposure to software architecture, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Experience with front‑end development (e.g., React) is an advantage.
