About the role

The Project Finance Analyst will join the Expert Consultation Center of ILTE, supporting the financial evaluation, structuring and preparation of financing for public‑infrastructure and other state‑significant investment projects. Working under senior project‑finance experts, you will assess project readiness for funding and develop robust financial models.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and update financial models, financing plans and cash‑flow forecasts for investment projects.
• Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses and validate key model assumptions.
• Calculate project viability, debt‑service capacity, financing needs and equity adequacy.
• Identify data gaps, inconsistent assumptions and structural weaknesses that could hinder financing.
• Analyse and compare financing options, sources and structures, recommending optimal solutions.
• Draft proposals to improve financial models, financing structures, revenue and payment models, and overall project readiness.
• Contribute to early‑stage project concept assessments and the financial sections of business plans and justification documents.
• Help develop and refine the Center’s methodologies, tools and quality‑assurance processes for financial modelling and project readiness evaluation.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience evaluating or attracting financing for companies or investment projects.
• Proven experience preparing financing applications, analysing corporate financial health, cash‑flows and financing structures, and producing credit opinions or financial models.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, investment‑project evaluation principles and the criteria used by financing institutions.
