SecDevOps Engineer

About the role

Johnson Matthey is seeking a SecDevOps Engineer to embed security, compliance and resilience into its cloud platforms and software delivery pipelines. You will work with cross‑functional teams to automate infrastructure, improve reliability and support a sustainable future.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate security controls and policy enforcement into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, monitoring and operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop reusable self‑service tooling, templates and AI‑assisted development guardrails.
• Collaborate with engineering, platform and security teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Support incident response, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in DevOps, SecDevOps, cloud or platform engineering.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and automated security testing.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Go, Bash).
• Understanding of container and cloud‑native technologies, security frameworks and modern secure engineering principles.
