Senior Audit Assistant

About the role

EY is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Audit Assistant to join its dynamic audit team. You will work closely with clients across multiple industries and countries, providing valuable insights that enhance business performance while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fieldwork, manage performance, and keep engagement leaders updated on audit engagements.
• Complete audit processes and document higher‑risk areas, focusing on revenue, financial instruments and income taxes.
• Engage clients, delivering authoritative advice and professional support throughout transactions.
• Continuously develop knowledge of market trends and share insights to mentor junior colleagues.
• Understand client ambitions and refer them to colleagues in other teams to broaden business relationships.

Required profile

• Experience in external financial audit.
• A degree in accounting, finance or a related business discipline.
• Proven experience leading planning, execution and reporting on audits.
• Strong communication and team‑management abilities.
• Technical expertise with industry knowledge in sectors such as Real Estate, Products & Services, Technology Media, Telecoms, etc.
• Fluency in spoken and written Lithuanian and English.
