Senior Communications and Marketing Associate

About the role

The Senior Communications and Marketing Associate will support the Head of Office and Head of Unit in coordinating and implementing communication and marketing activities for IOM Lithuania. The role focuses on delivering impactful campaigns, managing digital channels, and ensuring clear, user‑friendly information for diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and evaluate communication and marketing campaigns.
• Manage IOM Lithuania’s digital channels, including social media and website content.
• Produce and edit multimedia content (graphics, photos, videos) for various platforms.
• Monitor and analyse communication performance using analytics tools.
• Coordinate media liaison and public communications.
• Maintain website structure and ensure accessibility of information.

Required profile

• High school diploma with six years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Philology or related field with four years of experience.
• Proven experience in marketing or communications, including planning and delivering campaigns.
• Experience managing digital channels and creating content for diverse audiences.
• Experience monitoring and analysing communication activities.
• Experience with media liaison and website management.
• Experience working with migrants, refugees, IDPs or other vulnerable groups is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Photography and videography skills, including shooting and editing.
• Knowledge of social media and web analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics).
• Ability to plan and adapt content for different target audiences.
• Creative problem‑solving and high professionalism.
