Senior Financial Analyst, CS Operations

About the role

Vinted is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Marketplace Customer Support Operations team. Reporting to the Senior Director of CS Operations, you will lead financial analysis projects and work closely with cross‑functional teams across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis and forecasting, including segment‑specific profitability analyses to support top‑management decisions.
• Validate financial forecasts and actual results from other teams, reconcile differences and identify inconsistencies.
• Query data using SQL, Python, Looker and other tools to substantiate assumptions in financial models or derive insights.
• Coordinate periodic budgeting and forecasting processes for CS Operations.
• Identify and assess financial risks within CS Operations and propose mitigation strategies.
• Analyse costs, uncover opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare reports and presentations on financial performance for senior management and stakeholders.
• Assess the financial impact of business changes and make recommendations.
• Communicate nuanced financial insights effectively to stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Strategy, Finance and other teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of full‑time experience in finance, such as FP&A, investment funds, big‑four, investment banking or management consulting.
• Experience related to e‑commerce marketplaces is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and influence senior stakeholders.
