Senior Java Software Engineer – Document Management

About the role

Join Luminor's Document Management team as a Senior Java Software Engineer. You will help build and enhance platforms that cover the full document lifecycle, from generation to signing, while collaborating with a pan‑Baltic, agile team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain modern document‑management, generation, archiving and signing solutions.
• Develop API‑driven, micro‑service and cloud‑native applications.
• Optimize software to meet IT standards, security hardening and vulnerability management.
• Coordinate with product suppliers on roadmaps and operational topics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and improve system functionality.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Java.
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, OpenSearch) and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience in regulated industries, preferably banking or finance.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently in a pan‑Baltic environment.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
