Senior Record-to-Report Analyst – GL Accounting

About the role

Johnson Matthey is seeking a Senior Record-to-Report (RTR) Analyst to join its global finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of general ledger data while supporting month‑end, year‑end and statutory reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse general ledger accounts to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and internal policies.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close activities, preparing management accounts and financial reports for key stakeholders.
• Perform trial‑balance reviews, consolidation tasks and support statutory audits.
• Develop and present standard and ad‑hoc financial reports, responding to business queries.
• Identify and implement improvements to RTR processes, internal controls and system enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a record‑to‑report role within a global corporate environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from multiple data sources.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, fluent in English.
• Proactive, accountable and detail‑oriented with high integrity.
