Senior Treasury Analyst (Fixed Term)

About the role

Nasdaq is looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst (fixed term, about 18 months) to join the Global Cash Management team within its Treasury function. The team manages cash management operations while mitigating operational, financial and reputational risk, and the role mainly supports EMEA and APAC business activities. It works with Technology, Clearing, Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Risk and Finance teams. The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania, with a hybrid setup of at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and action securities settlement, foreign exchange and investment transactions so they settle by trading cut-offs and deadlines.
• Prepare bank account and securities reconciliations, build and maintain the related automation, and run callback verification for new or changed beneficiary banking information.
• Complete monthly controls, including monthly and quarterly SOX controls, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Take part in technology, automation and AI initiatives that improve the efficiency, resilience and cost-effectiveness of cash management, settlement, regulatory reporting and other Treasury processes.
• Support business partners and collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Risk, Operations and Technology teams on ad hoc inquiries, stronger controls and lower operational risk.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience with securities settlement and/or payments.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent English (spoken and written) and ability to balance daily tasks with project work.
• Proactive, curious and willing to learn beyond the defined scope.
• Eligible to work in the European Union; no unspent criminal convictions in Lithuania (except minor road traffic offences).

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Preferred: Treasury management system (Calypso preferred), Workday (ERP), OneStream (GL reconciliation), project management, and process improvement experience.
