Software Engineer (C# & SQL)

About the role

Moog is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Development & Design department in Vilnius. You will work on building and maintaining high‑quality software solutions using C# and SQL while following best programming practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop applications in C# applying object‑oriented programming principles.
• Write, optimise and maintain complex SQL queries and database objects.
• Test code, fix defects and evolve algorithms and software components.
• Collaborate with the team on software architecture design and propose improvements.
• Create technical interfaces and ensure proper documentation, code comments and specifications.
• Work with other company divisions to resolve production‑software issues.
• Mentor and guide junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Strong experience in C# development and OOP concepts.
• Proficiency in writing and optimising complex SQL queries.
• Ability to test, debug and improve software components.
• Good communication skills for teamwork and knowledge sharing.
