Tax Consultant

About the role

EY is hiring a Tax Consultant in Vilnius. You will work with large multinational companies and fast-growing start-ups on tax matters, learning from senior team members and developing the skills needed for future leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client financial and other business data and report on the impact of corporate restructurings, planning strategies and complex organizational changes.
• Support senior team members in day-to-day and strategic discussions with client decision-makers.
• Analyze transactions and prepare calculations for corporate income tax, VAT returns and Intrastat returns, and give advisory services to organizations in diverse industries.
• Help create processes that reduce tax compliance risk and assist in preparing estimated tax liabilities.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) or currently seeking one in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Law or a related field.
• Ideally some experience in accounting or finance.
• Excellent spoken and written Lithuanian and English.
• Curiosity about a changing business environment, and a mix of communication, interpersonal, analytical and critical thinking skills.
