Tech Lead – Java & Cloud Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Lead to drive the design and delivery of document‑management and workflow solutions for our banking platform. The role sits in the Document Management & Workflow Systems area of Luminor’s IT division and works with a pan‑Baltic agile team to build secure, scalable fintech services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of end‑to‑end document lifecycle capabilities (generation, capture, archiving, signing).
• Define and enforce architectural best practices, ensuring security, scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with strategic goals.
• Conduct code reviews, technical discussions and mentoring sessions for engineering teams.
• Drive innovation by exploring AI/ML, cloud‑native architectures and emerging fintech technologies.
• Establish and lead Communities of Practice in Software Engineering, QA/Test Automation, DevOps and Cloud.
• Develop frameworks, guidelines and accelerators to promote engineering excellence.
• Promote automation, CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑native adoption to improve delivery speed.

Required profile

• Strong background in banking or fintech software development and architecture.
• Proven leadership experience guiding engineering teams.
• Hands‑on experience building document‑management services.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, agile, multi‑country environment.
