About the role

Amber Grid is seeking a senior IT Cloud Engineer to design, implement and maintain its cloud and hybrid infrastructure. The role focuses on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services, supporting critical energy transmission systems and innovative green‑hydrogen projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, develop and optimise cloud and hybrid infrastructure based on Microsoft Azure and other cloud services.
• Create and implement a vision for Azure and hybrid architecture emphasising reliability, security and long‑term growth.
• Plan, build and maintain business continuity and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Administer and evolve Microsoft 365 services (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
• Ensure security, compliance and best‑practice implementation for cloud, hybrid and M365 solutions in collaboration with IT security teams.
• Participate in the design and rollout of IT solutions, assessing alternatives, risks and costs.
• Contribute to service stability, monitoring, automation and efficiency initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance, advise colleagues and support IT project activities.

Required profile

• Solid experience in IT infrastructure with Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, security, continuity and architecture principles.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to make independent decisions and implement them.
• Strong teamwork and result‑oriented attitude.
• Good spoken and written Lithuanian and English.
