Android Engineer – Frontend Technologies

About the role

Vinted is looking for an Android Engineer to join its Android Technologies team. You will help Vinted developers ship features faster by building and maintaining core Android architecture, shared libraries and developer tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain core Android architecture and shared libraries used across the marketplace business unit.
• Create developer‑experience solutions that enable other Android engineering teams to work efficiently.
• Collaborate with peers through GitHub pull requests and code reviews.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, snapshot and UI tests.
• Contribute to Android build systems and observability tools to improve platform stability and scalability.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn new technologies and work with a senior, knowledgeable team.
• Deep understanding of Android‑specific principles and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with future‑proof software architecture, design patterns and trade‑off analysis.
