Chief Marketing Officer – Remote (EMEA)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Chief Marketing Officer to shape and execute the global marketing strategy of a fast‑scaling AI‑native cloud infrastructure startup. Reporting directly to the founders, you will translate complex deep‑tech products into compelling stories for both technical and business audiences while driving demand and pipeline growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the company’s positioning, messaging, brand identity, and market differentiation across AI and cloud infrastructure.
• Design and run demand‑generation programs spanning content, digital channels, events, partnerships, and community building.
• Develop thought‑leadership assets targeting technical and enterprise audiences.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to build a scalable pipeline and improve conversion rates.
• Lead product‑marketing initiatives, including launches, campaigns, and market‑expansion projects.
• Build and scale the marketing function, hiring talent and managing external partners as needed.
• Track performance metrics (pipeline contribution, CAC, ROI) and continuously optimise execution.

Required profile

• 8+ years of B2B technology marketing experience with senior leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record in high‑growth tech companies or startups.
• Deep understanding of AI, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, developer platforms, or related deep‑tech markets.
• Demonstrated ability to create positioning, demand‑generation, and go‑to‑market strategies from scratch.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts.
• Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making experience.
• Comfort operating hands‑on in an early‑stage, distributed environment.
