Data Security Specialist – Protect What Matters Most

About the role

Outokumpu is seeking a Data Security Specialist to develop and maintain data security standards, protect sensitive business information, and support secure AI adoption across the enterprise. You will work within a hybrid model, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with privacy and security regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data security standards, policies, and information classification frameworks.
• Design, implement, and improve Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls across Microsoft 365, Azure, and other platforms.
• Identify and protect sensitive business data through proactive initiatives.
• Ensure data protection requirements are embedded in enterprise systems.
• Monitor emerging data security technologies and best practices.
• Advise and educate stakeholders on data security and information protection.
• Support compliance with privacy, security regulations, and secure AI adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Cyber Security, Data Management, Information Systems, Law, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in information security, data protection, governance, or compliance.
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies is highly preferred.
