Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director will lead the financial management of a veterinary sanitation company, ensuring accurate reporting, analysis and control of financial results. This senior position works closely with shareholders and senior management to support strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, analyse and control the company’s financial results.
• Analyse P&L, balance sheet, cash flows, cost structures, profitability and other key financial indicators.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes and analyse actual results versus plans.
• Prepare financial insights, recommendations and management information for the board and executives.
• Plan and control cash flows; financially evaluate investment projects and business decisions.
• Control and improve finance and accounting processes.
• Organise the finance team, set priorities and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with group company heads, auditors, banks and other partners.
• Participate actively in strategic and operational decision‑making.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, economics, accounting or a related field.
• At least 5 years of significant experience in finance management, control or financial analysis.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash‑flow, budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical abilities to dig into data, identify issues and propose solutions.
• Very good command of English.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Rietave.
