Financial Crime Manager (AML)

About the role

Eneba is building an open, safe and sustainable marketplace for gamers, and its Risk & Fraud Operations team protects the platform and players. This is a new role: you will own AML risk across the products and help prepare the company to operate as a regulated institution under an e-money (EMI) licence. You report to the Head of Risk & Fraud Operations and build the framework yourself.

Key responsibilities

• Own product AML risk: assess products for money laundering risk and identify gaps in controls
• Define controls, processes and frameworks for existing and new products, and run intake and sign-off
• Lead AML investigations and prepare cases ready for regulatory reporting
• Carry out sanctions screening, customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD)
• Analyse large volumes of data to find patterns and root causes, and turn findings into recommendations
• Help prepare the operation for regulatory requirements, including the EMI licence
• Train colleagues on AML topics and set the AML roadmap while staying hands-on in operations

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in AML or financial crime, ideally in fintech or a bank
• Hands-on experience with sanctions screening, CDD and EDD
• Experience with regulatory reporting and investigations, and working with regulators or authorities
• Strong analytical skills, proven ability to solve complex problems, and a strong sense of ownership
• Comfortable creating frameworks and processes rather than just following existing ones
• Based in a European or compatible time zone

Nice to have

• A recognized AML certification (such as ICA or ACAMS)
• SQL knowledge
• Experience in a fast-moving, results-driven fintech
