Fraud Specialist - Snakzy

About the role

Eneba is building an open, safe and sustainable marketplace for gamers, with over 20 million active users. Its Fraud & Risk Operations team protects the marketplace and ensures secure, fair transactions. As a Fraud Specialist, you will monitor suspicious activity, investigate potential fraud and help resolve fraud-related cases quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor marketplace transactions and user activity to spot suspicious behaviour and potential fraud.
• Review and process daily fraud tickets, including account unban requests, held transactions and KYC verification cases.
• Investigate suspicious transactions and account activity, following procedures and escalating complex cases when needed.
• Analyse transaction data and user behaviour to find unusual patterns and fraud risks.
• Use fraud monitoring tools, dashboards and alerts to support daily prevention work.
• Document findings and keep accurate records of fraud cases and decisions.
• Work with Fraud Analysts and other teams to resolve cases and improve fraud prevention processes.
• Suggest improvements to fraud detection workflows and procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in fraud prevention, risk operations, customer support, payment operations or a similar analytical or operational role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot unusual patterns or inconsistencies.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to follow procedures and escalate issues.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and curiosity about fraud prevention and online marketplaces.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Basic analytical skills and confidence with data, spreadsheets or reporting tools.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
