Fund Accounting Officer

About the role

Join Alter Domus, a leading provider of integrated solutions for the alternative investment industry, as a Fund Accounting Officer. You will support the NAV process and deliver accurate client reporting while working with a global team of professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Generate timely client deliverables such as financial statements, investor statements, capital call and distribution notices.
• Apply standard GAAP processes and guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Participate in weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc client calls.
• Collaborate with Operations and Technology teams to streamline production and improve policies.
• Maintain clear internal and external communication on status, issues and expectations.
• Build strong client relationships through responsive and detail‑oriented communication.
• Self‑review work before submission and take on additional administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Strong academic background, preferably a degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or Economics.
• Working towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit; fund administration experience is a plus.
• High level of IT literacy with strong Excel and Word skills.
