Investment and M&A Project Manager (F/M/D)

About the role

Ignitis Renewables, part of Ignitis Group, is looking for a colleague to join its Investment team and focus on M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector. The role supports the assessment and execution of M&A deals and greenfield investments, with a hybrid work model (3+2) and flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Support the assessment and execution of M&A transactions and greenfield investments in the renewable energy sector
• Build, review and maintain financial models to evaluate investment feasibility and profitability
• Carry out investment analysis, cash flow forecasting and valuation reviews with minimal supervision
• Assist treasury and commercial teams with project financing and PPA-related decisions
• Prepare and present investment findings to internal teams and stakeholders
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, external partners and advisors throughout transaction processes
• Support internal approvals by preparing presentations, memos and board materials
• Assist in drafting and reviewing transaction documents such as term sheets and NDAs
• Manage external advisors (e.g. for financial and tax due diligence) and their deliverables
• Monitor renewable energy market trends and provide relevant insights

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business management, mathematics or a related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory or project finance
• Excellent command of English and Lithuanian (verbal and written)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines with high attention to detail
• An advantage: enrollment in a CFA or similar certification program, and experience in buy-side/sell-side processes, advisor coordination and negotiations

Required skills

• Strong financial modeling and valuation analysis skills
• Solid understanding of financial analysis and valuation methods
• Strong MS Office proficiency
