IT Support Specialist

About the role

Lidl is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join its growing IT team in Lithuania. You will provide qualified technical assistance to store and corporate users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and retail IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver second‑level support for technical and software usage issues.
• Resolve, manage and track IT incidents and service requests.
• Prepare, configure and set up new computer workstations.
• Create and maintain system access permissions.
• Increase Helpdesk efficiency by expanding the knowledge base.
• Continuously monitor and control IT systems.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in IT or a related field.
• Experience in an IT Helpdesk or Service Desk environment.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Strong communication, quick issue resolution and stress tolerance.
• Knowledge of Windows, macOS and iOS platforms.
• Familiarity with IT Asset Management processes (advantage).
• ITIL certification (advantage).
• Understanding of retail processes and technologies (advantage).
