IT Systems Engineer

About the role

Inventi, a financial application development company, is looking for an IT Systems Engineer to take ownership of its internal IT environment and make it more efficient, secure and scalable. The role covers the devices, systems and tools employees use every day, working closely with the DevOps and Product teams and improving processes through automation.

Key responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT operations, including technical onboarding and offboarding, device setup, troubleshooting and IT support
• Manage the Mac fleet with Mosyle and Apple Business Manager, including configuration and maintenance
• Maintain hardware and software inventory and coordinate equipment purchases, replacements and repairs
• Administer internal tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and 1Password, managing licenses and SaaS costs
• Design and implement identity and access management solutions, including SSO, MFA and role-based access
• Automate IT workflows and integrate systems via APIs, scripts and automation tools
• Develop and improve IT policies, processes and documentation

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in IT systems administration or a similar role
• Hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting macOS devices
• Strong administration skills in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365
• Good understanding of identity and access management (SSO, MFA, user lifecycle)
• Solid knowledge of IT security fundamentals, including least privilege, device hardening and secure offboarding
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset, good written and spoken English
• Nice to have: ISO 27001 experience, basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, VPNs, firewalls)

Required skills

• Practical experience using AI tools in daily work, such as AI coding assistants
• Scripting skills and confidence with configuration as code
