Test Automation Engineer

About the role

Seca, a German global health technology company known for medical body composition analysis and precision measuring systems, is expanding its cloud-based body composition analysis platform and is looking for a Test Automation Engineer in Vilnius. You will design, develop and maintain automated testing solutions for the company's cloud-based medical software, working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile, product-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated UI and API test cases for web applications
• Create automated test scenarios based on business requirements and user stories
• Design and maintain automated test environments and test data
• Integrate automated test scenarios into the development pipeline
• Analyse, document and report test execution results
• Support the development team in verifying software increments and ensuring product quality
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools and methodologies

Required profile

• Proven experience in test automation for web applications
• Hands-on experience designing and developing automated UI and API tests for web and mobile applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Lithuanian
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is considered an advantage
• Familiarity with web security concepts is a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Hamburg, Germany (about one week during onboarding)

Required skills

• Scripting/programming languages such as Python
• IDEs such as PyCharm
• Integrating Confluence and JIRA into test infrastructure

• Salary of EUR 3,340 to 5,000 gross per month depending on experience and expertise
