Platform Engineering Manager

About the role

Oxylabs is looking for a Platform Engineering Manager to lead the Observability/Data area of its platform, which handles massive data traffic and storage. You will combine hands‑on technical leadership with people management to ensure reliable, scalable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team (2‑3 engineers) in delivering observability and data platform features.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers while maintaining team health and performance.
• Plan capacity, manage risks, unblock issues quickly, and handle escalations.
• Align scope and priorities with the Director of Infrastructure and keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay hands‑on as a technical lead, contributing to architecture and code.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an engineering team (Team Lead, Squad Lead, or Tech Lead).
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate business needs into clear plans.
• Pragmatic, ownership‑driven mindset with focus on reliability and standards.
