PMO Analyst – Governance & Reporting for Strategic Initiatives

About the role
We are seeking a PMO Analyst to support governance and reporting across a portfolio of strategic security and technology transformation initiatives for a large international financial services group. You will join an international programme team tackling complex technology challenges within a security‑focused transformation portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Support programme governance and control activities for strategic security initiatives.
- Produce executive‑level strategic reporting and dashboards for programme leadership and governance committees.
- Maintain RAID logs and drive proactive risk identification, escalation, and mitigation.
- Assist with financial management, including budget tracking, forecasting, spend monitoring, and benefits realization reporting.
- Consolidate information from multiple projects and workstreams into clear, executive‑ready reports.
- Track programme milestones, KPIs, dependencies, and outcomes to enable timely decision‑making.
- Maintain programme artefacts such as plans, action logs, and decision logs.
- Promote consistency in reporting, governance, and delivery management across the programme.
- Support resource planning, portfolio coordination, and continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools.
Required profile
- Experience in a PMO, Programme Management Office, Project Controls, or Portfolio Management role within a large organisation.
- Strong understanding of programme governance, executive reporting, RAID management, financial tracking, and delivery controls.
- Background supporting large‑scale technology, security, risk, or transformation programmes.
- Excellent analytical ability to translate complex data into concise insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills at all organisational levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Structured, proactive approach with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in cyber‑security, technology, or risk‑management programmes is an advantage.
- Knowledge of project‑management methodologies and portfolio‑management practices is beneficial.
