Quality Assurance Analyst – AML/CTF

About the role

PAYSTRAX is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst specialized in Anti‑Money Laundering and Counter‑Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) to join its growing team in Vilnius. You will ensure that customer due‑diligence files and related compliance processes meet the highest standards of accuracy and regulatory conformity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular QA reviews of Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) files.
• Identify errors, inconsistencies and process deviations, record findings and prepare structured reports for senior QA and Compliance teams.
• Support the preparation of periodic QA reports, statistical summaries and trend analyses.
• Participate in QA testing of sanctions‑screening and identity‑verification systems, documenting results and evaluating performance.
• Monitor sanctions‑list updates and regulatory changes, escalating relevant issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Operations, Compliance and IT to provide feedback and support on AML/CTF matters.
• Contribute to the evolution of the QA framework by suggesting improvements to checklists, sampling methods and documentation standards.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in AML/CTF and QA within financial services, fintech or payments.
• Good understanding of high‑risk merchant categories (gambling, crypto, FX/CFD, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of AML/KYC/KYB principles and EU/Lithuanian AML/CTF regulations.
• Ability to spot discrepancies and support process improvements.
• Proactive, organised and strong analytical mindset.
