About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer ensures high‑quality software delivery for core financial services by designing and executing comprehensive testing processes and collaborating closely with development and product teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and execute test plans and test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and uphold quality standards.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Automate repetitive test cases and maintain automation frameworks.
  • Review and analyse system specifications to define testing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of continuous testing solutions.
  • Assist in deploying software updates and provide post‑deployment support.

Required profile

  • Proficient in manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC).
  • Experience with defect‑tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Hands‑on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Selenide, TestNG, or Postman.
  • Knowledge of API testing.
  • Familiarity with version‑control systems, especially Git.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Fluent English communication, both spoken and written.
