Quality Engineer – Advanced Content Control

About the role

CUJO AI is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its Advanced Content Control Engineering (ACCE) team in Lithuania. You will own the quality of the Compass platform, a 24/7 event‑driven service that powers Digital Life services for operators worldwide. The role focuses on shaping test strategy, building sustainable automation, and translating risk into clear release decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of release readiness and regression scope for a live, globally‑deployed service.
• Define test strategy across unit, component, integration, contract and end‑to‑end layers for an event‑driven architecture.
• Develop and maintain Python‑based test automation within a shared framework and CI pipelines.
• Validate Kafka topics, consumer behavior, REST and partner APIs, OpenSearch indices, Redis caches, S3 rule releases, and underlying AWS services.
• Plan and execute performance and scalability testing, turning results into capacity recommendations.
• Reproduce customer‑reported issues, work with Product Operations, and expand test coverage based on real deployments.
• Collaborate across detection, firmware, data, and product teams to ensure feature quality before shipping.
• Communicate risk, defect status, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and mentor teammates.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk before defects arise.
• Experience owning quality for production services and influencing team‑wide QA practices.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.
